I purchased this specifically because I was told by the company it DOES stream Netflix. It took me two hours to get it to connect to the wireless network. I had to move it to 2 feet from the wireless modem AND disable the firewall to zero. And after another hour of trying to find the function on it to goto netflix, read up further and found in the fine print on the website reviews everyone else who bought it for Netflix who are also disappointed.

I got this for a Christmas present for the family. Set everything up before Christmas to make sure everything worked. It was very easy to setup and connect to my wireless network. The firmware update took several minutes. We have played several movies (Blu-ray and DVD) since Christmas, and we have had no problems. I have not used the BD live yet. Overall this has worked like a champ.

This blu-ray player has been a charm so far. Very easy to setup and use. The network features are great and the device automatically went out and updated it's own firmware right off the bat. The remote is very user friendly and has many universal features if you aren't already using something like the Logitech Harmony.

Our first Blu-ray player and it was easy to install and use. It makes DVDs look better and was easy to set up on our wireless network.

This is my first blu-ray player I have ever bought and after doing extensive research I focused on the 560. The reason I narrowed down to this one was because it has built in wireless and therefore I don't have to worry about connecting to my computer through an ethernet cable and due to always being connected via my wireless router my blu-ray can automatically tell me when updates are available. When I saw this model go on sale at HHGregg for $189 I decided to take the plunge and I have not been dissapointed. I have a simple Linksys wireless router and it immediately recogized my network upon loading up. It took a minute for me to locate the right wma key but once I found that I was online and downloading 9 updates and playing Disney Blu-ray Earth in minutes. The home screen on "Earth" showed the local temperature! How cool.
For those of you looking for live streaming Netflix and all of those features I have to believe with the wireless connection of the 560 that Sony will complete an update for this unit to allow streaming video in the near future. I have to believe wireless is the way of the future and if you are like me and have your computer in a seperate room from your big screen tv then this is the way to go. If live streaming netflix through an ethernet cable is important then you can look at the 460 but keep in mind the 560 also has an ethernet port so once live streaming is available through an update then you have the best of both worlds! I have no info that live streaming can be added through an update but reading through blogs it appears this may be a possibility.
Anyways, love my purchase and could not be happier with my purchase of the 560. Picture was incredible even on my 720p 50 inch plasma. The remote is adequate but nothing flashy. The reviews of people who could not set this up are obviously inpatient or have internet or wireless router issues. Best of luck!
